100% Braided Weave Raffia
The surface presents an even grid of small squares formed by an interlaced basket pattern, rendered in pale ivory and soft straw tones. Within each square a faint diamond or lattice motif appears, created by the crossing strands rather than by added color, giving the whole field a quiet, uniform texture without any border or central motif to interrupt it.
100% Regular Weave Raffia
The surface presents an entirely open field, uninterrupted by border, medallion, or figural motif, its plain expanse left to speak through texture alone. Fine horizontal ridges run in tight, even rows across the ground, catching light unevenly to produce a subtle striated sheen. The tone is a soft, warm ivory throughout, with faint variations where individual strands shift slightly in hue and thickness.
100% Raffia Two Tone Herringbone Weave
The surface presents an all-over herringbone pattern formed by narrow strands alternating direction in a continuous zigzag. Tones shift gently between pale straw and deeper tan, giving the chevrons subtle definition rather than sharp contrast. No border, medallion, or inscription interrupts the field; the pattern runs edge to edge across the visible expanse.
100% Raffia Two Tone Herringbone Weave
The surface reads as a continuous zigzag of interlocking bands, each course of strands turning direction to form a repeating chevron across the whole field. Tonal variation between straw-pale and deeper tan strands gives the herringbone its two-tone shimmer, catching light differently row by row. No border or central medallion interrupts the pattern; it runs edge to edge as an all-over texture.
100% Herringbone Weave Raffia
A close, even herringbone plaiting fills the entire surface, each row of flat straw-toned strands angling in alternating diagonals to form a continuous zigzag pattern. The palette stays within a narrow range of pale cream and light gold, with subtle variation where individual strands catch the light differently. No border, motif, or inscription interrupts the field, which reads as an unbroken textured expanse from edge to edge.
100% Diamond Weave Raffia
The surface presents an unbroken diamond-shaped basketweave pattern in pale straw and ivory tones, with the interlacing strands catching light differently to create a subtle chevron shimmer across the field. No border, medallion, or inscription interrupts the repeat; the plain woven field extends edge to edge, uniform in scale and rhythm.
