Handwoven Wall Coverings

Our handwoven wall coverings are made in the Philippines and Japan in abaca, raffia, bamboo, silk and linen, and include handmade Japanese washi papers and the Karakami woodblock traditions of Kyoto. These are surfaces meant to be seen close to, where the irregularity of a hand-woven or hand-made ground gives a wall depth that a printed paper cannot. Standard widths are listed where they are recorded, and the same materials serve for ceilings and room dividers as well as walls.
