An open ivory field is animated only by a network of slender brown lattice lines that meet in diamond points down the length of the piece, each junction marked by a small solid dot. Along the top and bottom edges, tapering brown triangular forms alternate with narrow ladder-patterned bands, echoed in the flanking side borders of the same ladder motif. The palette stays strictly to warm ivory and a single chestnut brown throughout, with a detail inset showing the crisp edge of the woven brown striping against the pale ground.

Chenille Melange

100% Cotton

The field is left entirely open, an unbroken expanse of finely striated ivory and pale grey running horizontally across the surface, with no border, medallion, or corner ornament to interrupt it. A close-up inset reveals the flat, basket-like grid of the weave, where individual strands cross in small square cells to create a subtle textured pattern visible only up close. The overall palette stays within soft neutrals, shifting gently between cream and light silver-grey along the length of the piece.

Swedish Flat Weave

The field is organized into a lattice of large octagonal medallions on a taupe ground, linked by small diamonds filled with tiny four-petal florets. The upper and lower rows of octagons enclose paired birds flanking a stylized tree in turquoise and brown, while the central row presents facing rust-red stags with elaborate antlers, both set against a pale straw-yellow interior. A wide dark brown border frames the composition with a continuous serrated zigzag band in cream and rust, echoed by a narrower zigzag guard stripe just inside the fringe.
