The field is left entirely open, given over to a small-scale checkerboard weave in soft ivory and pale taupe, the two tones alternating in a tight basketweave rhythm across the whole surface. No border, medallion, or figural motif interrupts the pattern; a circular detail inset in the lower corner shows the same check structure magnified. The overall effect is a quiet, uniform grid rather than a pictorial composition.

The field is worked on an open white ground in a repeating lattice of dark teal lozenge and chevron forms, each interlocking diamond enclosing a small lighter blue diamond motif at its center. Vertical rows of pointed arch-like shapes descend the field, terminating in stacked figural and floral pendants rendered in the same dark teal outline with touches of pale blue accent. A circular detail inset in the lower right isolates one of the diamond medallions to show the fineness of the interlocking pattern up close.

The field is left entirely open, an unpatterned expanse of pale ivory surface showing a fine, evenly ridged texture with a subtle honeycomb-like undulation. A circular inset in the lower right magnifies the surface, revealing the small-scale structure of ribs and knots that produce the overall texture. No border, motif, or inscription interrupts the plain ground.
