There is no border to speak of, the striping simply running edge to edge, and the top and bottom edges show reinforced overcast stitching with small tasseled corner tabs. A faint vertical seam is visible where two woven panels have been joined down the center.

The border is composed of a plain sage-green band flanked by narrower striped and floral guard stripes in rose, cream, and green, with warp fringe left exposed at both ends.

A long runner filled edge to edge with a small-scale repeating lattice of rosettes and diamond forms in coral, mustard, pale green, and ivory set against a dark brown ground. Narrow striped guard borders in cream and brown frame the field, while the top and bottom ends carry a wider band of stylized arched palmette-like forms rendered in the same coral, green, and gold palette. The overall effect is dense and allover, with the directional end panels the only interruption to the field's repeat.
A rich brown ground centers a vertical panel of a naturalistic floral and fruit spray, rendered in muted gold, sage green, slate blue, and touches of coral red and pink. The narrow flanking columns and top and bottom borders carry symmetrical acanthus scrollwork in ivory and pale sage, framing the central bouquet with a continuous curling vine.
