Savonnerie

An open ivory field carries a single small blue rosette-and-ribbon medallion at center, its curling ribbons rendered in pale blue against the plain ground. The corners are marked with delicate garlands of laurel-like foliage strung with small red berries, echoing the running guilloche border of interlaced ribbon medallions that frames the field on a narrow gold band, all enclosed by a thin outer stripe of dusty blue.

An ivory field is organized in a lattice of scalloped medallions in soft coral outline, each enclosing a small rose spray and connected by scrolling tendrils on a cream ground. A wide floral border of pink roses, cream blossoms, and blue-green foliage on an ivory ground frames the field, separated by a narrow guard band of a repeating scalloped motif in coral and cream, with a dark green outer edge.

An amber-brown ground carries an overall repeat of large rose blossoms in crimson and pink, interspersed with cream and ivory flower heads, sprays of small red berries, and dark navy leaf clusters set against sage-green foliage. The border is a continuous garland of red roses and green leaves on a matching brown ground, framed by a narrow serrated ivory guard stripe. The floral scale is uniform from top to bottom, giving the field a dense, unbroken lattice of bloom and leaf.

The field is arranged in vertical columns of small crimson and pale rose blossoms alternating with slender ribbed stripes, all set against a pale straw ground. A narrow guard band of tiny stepped diamonds in olive and rust frames the field, followed by a wide border of diagonal ribbon twists in sage green interwoven with clusters of pink and crimson roses and green foliage on a dark chocolate ground. The corners of the outer border resolve the diagonal ribbon motif into a continuous, mitred turn.

A dense floral field fills the entire surface edge to edge, with no visible border separating it from the ground. Large blown roses in deep rose-pink and ivory dominate the composition, surrounded by feathery coral-toned fern fronds, sprays of small white and blue blossoms, and yellow-green leaves set against a dark olive-black ground. The arrangement is asymmetric, with clusters of bloom concentrated toward the center and lower portion and the foliage thinning toward the corners.

A dark chocolate-brown ground is scattered with a dense repeat of small floral sprays and set with a nine-part grid of cream-outlined ovals, each enclosing a bouquet of roses, blue blossoms, and green foliage. Corners of the ovals sprout stylized acanthus scrolls in gold and beige, echoing the border's cartouches at the corners. The wide border pairs a striped pink-and-cream band with a floral vine on brown, framed by narrow guard stripes, and a small dark mark appears near the center bottom of the field.

An ivory ground centers on a large scalloped medallion in soft blue and taupe, enclosing a rosette cluster of cream flowers on a brown ground; the medallion is flanked top and bottom by small oval reserves each containing a single bird set against pale blue. Surrounding the medallion, sprays of small flowers and sprigs scatter loosely across the open field, framed by a border of interlocking scrollwork in ivory on a soft terracotta band, with concentric guard stripes in blue and cream.

A golden-yellow ground is filled with staggered rows of small stylized floral sprays, each rendered as a serrated leaf-form blossom in navy, rust, ivory, pink, and sage rising from a diamond-shaped rootstock. The narrow border alternates between a blue-grey field of small diamond lattice and a band of pink and ivory reciprocal trefoils, framing the field on all sides. Colors vary noticeably from motif to motif rather than following a fixed repeat, giving the rows an irregular, hand-varied rhythm.

The field is laid out as a diagonal trellis in golden-tan latticework, each crossing point marked by a small rosette medallion, with clusters of stylized acanthus leaves filling the pale seafoam-green diamonds between the bands. A dark chocolate-brown border encloses the composition, decorated with scrolling pink and cream vinework, while a scalloped blue-and-cream shell motif runs along the inner edge of the border on all four sides. Small foliate cartouches occupy each corner where the border meets the scalloped band.

The field is organized as an interlocking lattice of ovals in cream and olive, each compartment enclosing small floral sprays in rose, salmon, and pale blue, with rosette medallions marking the lattice intersections. A wide, dark chocolate-ground border surrounds the field, filled with large scrolling floral sprays, palmette-like blooms, and curling acanthus leaves in cream, ochre, and pink, flanked by narrower guard stripes patterned with a repeating rose-and-vine motif on a red ground.
