Sea Green

Mixed flatweave techinique

A pale celadon field carries an evenly spaced lattice of shield-shaped medallions alternating with fleur-de-lis-like palmettes, connected by fine diagonal lines forming a diamond trellis. Large curling acanthus leaves in ochre, olive, and soft rose fill the wide border, echoing the scrolling forms found within the field. The palette throughout stays soft and muted, built from straw yellow, sage green, dusty pink, and warm taupe, with the ground left open and airy around the repeating motifs.

Red Vine

A pale gold field is overlaid with a mirrored lattice of red-outlined lancet forms enclosing scrolling palmettes, sickle leaves, and small florets in slate blue, ivory, olive, and brick red. A narrow rose-colored band separates the field from a wide green border filled with rosettes and leafy vine scrolls, itself framed by slimmer guard stripes of tan and ivory with a small-scale floral trail.

Red Vine

An ivory field is overlaid with a lattice of interlocking arched medallions rendered in rust, slate blue, and olive floral sprays, with small diamond-shaped devices marking the points where the arches meet. The border repeats a leafy scrolling vine in green against tan, framed by narrow guard stripes in cream and soft rose. Colors throughout stay muted - ivory, sage green, dusty coral, and pale blue - giving the whole surface an even, pastel tonality.

Shah Abus

The field is a soft taupe-brown ground covered edge to edge with an all-over lattice of scrolling vines bearing palmettes, rosettes, and elongated leaf and paisley-like forms rendered in ivory and pale beige. A wide main border of similar floral scrollwork frames the field, flanked by narrower guard stripes with small repeating blossom motifs. The overall palette stays within a muted range of warm browns and creams, with no figural or inscriptive elements visible.

Swedish Pile

A nested rectilinear composition centers a solid sage-green field enclosing a smaller mauve rectangle, itself containing a narrow chevron-striped panel in black, cream, and plum. The surrounding cream ground carries scattered small motifs — X-shaped crosses and quartered squares in mauve, yellow, and green — set within a broad plum border. Outer bands combine a zigzag chevron pattern in black, cream, and mauve with a slate-blue strip patterned in small squares, framed at the very edge by a black band of stacked X-forms.

Swedish Flat Weave

A long, narrow runner composed entirely of horizontal bands in a mottled multicolor palette—rose, orange, denim blue, cream, and touches of brown and black—with no distinct border separating field from edge. The detail view shows the banding built up from fine, irregular striations rather than a repeating printed pattern, giving the surface a variegated, almost speckled texture. Fringe is visible at the top end where the warp ends are left loose.

Swedish Pile

A pale pinkish-beige field is scattered with small notched, U-shaped and bracket-like marks in yellow and soft green, arranged in loose diagonal drifts across the surface. A narrow dark brown line frames the field, set within a wide, abrashed sage-green border finished at each end with a slim dark-brown geometric guard stripe. The overall palette stays soft and muted, with the field motifs reading almost like scattered brushstrokes against the plain ground.
