Recycled Hemp with Wool Accents

An open, undecorated field in pale, flecked oatmeal tones fills the surface, its texture built from a dense, irregular flatweave with visible slubs and variations in thickness. Scattered across the ground are short, dark horizontal accents, unevenly spaced and slightly varied in length, standing in sharp tonal contrast to the surrounding neutral surface. A detail inset in the lower right shows one of these dark marks magnified, revealing its soft, tufted texture set into the coarser woven ground.

Recycled Hemp with Wool Accents

An undyed, oatmeal-toned ground of dense, irregular texture is left otherwise plain, its surface animated only by scattered short strokes of deep indigo pile. These dark accents are arranged in a loose, unaligned scatter across the field, varying slightly in length and thickness, with no symmetry or repeating pattern connecting them. A circular inset in the lower right offers a close-up view of one such mark, revealing the raised, tufted texture of the indigo fibers against the flatter, knotted ground.
