Savonnerie

An overall lattice of scrolling leafy vines fills the golden-yellow field, densely packed with rosettes and blossoms rendered in cream, blush pink, and pale blue. A slender gray ribbon appears to weave through the foliage near the top and bottom, echoing the border's grid pattern. The surrounding border presents a chevron band in gold and slate blue, framed by narrow solid stripes of gold and deep charcoal green.

Spanish

The field is left entirely open, a single expanse of near-black ground broken only by the fine, even flecking of pale threads that surface along each row. No border, medallion, or other motif interrupts the surface; the plain selvage runs along the left edge, and the top and bottom edges show a slight, unforced waviness.

A plain, undecorated ground fills the entire field in a uniform grey-taupe tone, its surface built up from a fine, regular ribbed texture running horizontally. No border, medallion, or other motif interrupts the surface; the piece is left entirely open, its interest carried by the close, even texture of the weave itself.

Tabriz

The field is covered edge to edge with an overall lattice of scrolling vines and palmettes, rendered in soft camel and fawn tones against a muted slate-blue ground that shows through the interstices. A narrow band of blossoms interrupts the pattern at the horizontal midpoint, and the composition is framed by a wide border of repeating floral rosettes on dark blue, flanked by slimmer guard stripes in matching palette.

Tabriz

The field is filled with an all-over repeat of small curved boteh forms, each packed with fine floral detail, arranged in dense horizontal rows across an ivory ground. A wide border of scrolling vinework in deep teal-green frames the field, flanked by a series of narrower guard stripes carrying matching palmette and leaf motifs, with the whole palette running through muted gold, sage, rust and slate blue.

Tabriz

An ivory field is covered edge to edge with a small repeating boteh pattern arranged in dense diagonal rows, rendered in muted rust and soft green tones against the pale ground. This is framed by a main border of a meandering vine with palmette-like forms in brick red, flanked by narrower guard stripes carrying tight geometric and floral repeats in the same restrained palette. The corners of the border pattern resolve without interruption, keeping the overall design continuous and symmetrical.

Tabriz

The field is organized as a garden of compartments, a grid of rectangular panels each holding a different tree, shrub, vase, or animal motif rendered in ivory, rust, gold, and blue-black against pale grounds. Narrow cartouche bands running between the panels carry cursive inscriptions, and a central medallion of dark script interrupts the vertical divider at mid-field. The wide border repeats a scalloped floral vine on cream, framed by narrower guard stripes of small palmettes and rosettes in the same rust, gold, and ivory palette.

Thracian Kilim

A slate-blue field is filled with a symmetrical lattice of angular, palmette-tipped vinework in rust, ivory, sage, and pale lavender, framed by a serrated sage-green medallion contour that echoes the field's shape. The main border alternates rust-outlined diamond cartouches on a mustard ground with ivory panels of scrolling rust arabesques, all enclosed by narrow guard stripes in rust, gold, and dark brown. The corners of the field are marked by hooked sage spandrels that repeat the medallion's serrated edge.

Needlepoint

A long narrow runner divides the field into two vertical columns separated and framed by dark brown bands, each column filled with a repeating floral lattice of blossoms in salmon, ivory, and muted teal set against a deep brown ground. The outer border carries a continuous meander (key-fret) pattern in cream against brown, echoed by a slender guard stripe of small angular florets along the inner edge.
