Berber

An allover field with no border, worked in fine horizontal striations of ivory, camel, and dark brown that build a mottled, cloud-like pattern across the surface. Irregular patches of rust and chocolate brown drift over the paler ground, giving the impression of texture rather than a fixed motif. A circular inset in the lower corner offers a close-up view of the same striated surface and its color transitions.

The field is organized into a lattice of stepped diamonds, each enclosing a small four-petaled flower head, repeated in a grid across a soft ivory-pink ground with no two diamonds sharing quite the same color combination. A wide plain mauve-taupe band frames the composition, itself edged by a serrated triangular border in alternating jewel tones of indigo, plum, rust, gold, and slate blue. Colors throughout run through dusty rose, aubergine, olive, cobalt, and salmon, giving the overall surface a patchwork-like variety within its repeating structure.

An overall lattice of scrolling vinework fills the camel-toned field, each compartment holding small palmettes, rosettes, and paired birds rendered in slate blue, soft brown, and ivory. Scattered among the lattice are pairs of small animals, possibly deer, worked into the lower and side sections, along with pendant medallions in blue and cream. The wide border repeats a rosette-and-vine pattern against a lighter tan ground, framed by narrower blue guard stripes with a serrated leaf motif.

An open field of soft terracotta orange runs uninterrupted from end to end, framed by a wide seafoam-green border scattered with rosette medallions in coral and cream. Flanking guard stripes carry a small-scale palmette and leaf vine in the same restrained palette, with a narrow zigzag band separating field from border. The corners resolve simply, without cartouches or added inscriptions, keeping the composition quiet and evenly balanced.

An open, sage-toned field carries a central medallion of small coral rosettes flanking a slender vertical pole, echoed by scattered floral sprays drifting toward the corners. The wide ivory border is built from a chain of elongated cartouches and palmette forms, each accented with the same coral-red blossoms that punctuate the field. Overall the palette stays soft and muted, with the coral notes providing the only strong color against the pale ground and border.

The ivory field carries an allover lattice of scrolling palmette vines rendered in soft blue and taupe, with small rust-colored accents punctuating the diamond junctures. A steel-blue border encloses the field, filled with alternating rosette and cartouche medallions linked by scrolling stems, framed by narrow guard stripes in cream and dark outline. The pattern repeats symmetrically along the vertical axis, with the field pigment showing gentle variation from warm gold to pale ivory across its surface.

An ivory field carries an allover lattice of palmettes and serrated leaves in rust, ochre, and soft blue-gray, radiating from a central rosette medallion that repeats faintly across the surface. The main border, a warm tan ground, is filled with alternating cartouche and rosette forms flanked by narrower guard stripes of small floral trellis in blue and cream. Color throughout stays within a muted range of apricot, slate blue, and undyed ivory, giving the pattern a soft, worn harmony.

An ivory field carries a soft blue central medallion flanked by two pairs of gold and coral palmettes, framed by scrolling floral vinework rendered in muted salmon, apricot, and pale grey tones. The wide border repeats a rhythmic sequence of stylized blossoms, rosettes, and leaf forms against a faded rose ground, bounded by narrower guard stripes of small diamond and flower motifs. Coloration throughout is soft and abraded, giving the surface an overall pastel, sun-faded appearance.

Indian Dhurie

The field is a soft putty ground overlaid with a repeating chevron lattice in olive green, each zigzag row scattered with tiny diamonds in red, blue, yellow, and green. A narrow ivory band separates the field from the border, which repeats the chevron motif in a wider, multicolored stripe of green, yellow, red, blue, and cream before closing on an outer olive edge.
