Reversible

The field runs in narrow vertical stripes of ivory, olive-green, and taupe, with a fine thread of dark red interrupting the pattern at irregular intervals. One face shows a long shaggy pile in muted cream and green tones, while the reverse reveals a flatter, tightly ribbed surface in the same striped sequence, its diamond lattice pattern visible in the detail view. Both ends finish in loose, undyed fringe left uneven in length.

The field is organized in horizontal bands alternating olive-green rows of stylized rosettes in rust, ivory, and slate-blue with narrower striped bands of small lozenges in ochre and pale blue. A striated mauve-grey border frames the composition, punctuated by golden floral clusters at the corners and a linked-medallion motif in the corner cartouches. The overall palette runs through olive, rust, ochre, ivory, and dusty violet against the muted ground stripes.

    ARRAIOLOS

The field is filled with an allover trellis lattice, small four-pointed star and rosette forms repeating in a dense diagonal grid across an ivory ground. Tones shift softly from pale gold to muted grey-green as the pattern catches the light, giving the surface a subtly shaded, almost watered appearance. A narrow twisted rope-like border in matching straw and grey tones frames the field on all sides.

    BESSARABIAN

An ivory ground surrounds a smaller inset panel outlined in dark brown and filled with a fine trellis lattice, left otherwise open. Around the panel, a wide field is scattered with individual birds in profile - herons, ducks, parrots in blue and ochre - alternating with small floral sprays and pairs of stylized animal figures at the corners, all rendered in muted blue, brown, ochre and coral tones against the pale ground.

    Boujad

The field divides into two registers: an upper ground of brick red interlaced with undulating ivory columns that swell into lozenge and hexagon forms, and a lower ground of pale sage green scattered with cream diamonds and hourglass shapes. A narrow band of slate blue separates the two zones, with a single small cobalt accent set into one ivory diamond. The top edge carries a striped border of cream, red, and scattered blue blocks, echoed faintly along the bottom selvage, and the piece finishes in loose ivory fringe with a few darker strands at one corner.

    Moroccan Kilim

An open, undecorated ground in warm ivory is crossed by a series of thin, irregular horizontal bands in soft brown and taupe, their broken, wavering lines giving the surface an almost hand-drawn rhythm. The composition is left otherwise bare, with no border enclosing the field, and the piece finishes in a plain fringe at both ends.

    Berber Kilim

An ivory ground is crossed by dozens of narrow horizontal bands, each carrying a different small-scale pattern of dashes, diamonds, or zigzags in brown, rust, mustard, cream, and touches of dark navy. The wide plain ivory intervals between bands let the striping read as a calm, evenly spaced rhythm rather than a dense allover design. A faint vertical seam runs down the center where two woven widths meet, and both ends finish in a plain warp fringe.
