An ivory field is arranged in a strict mirrored symmetry along both axes, carrying angular palmettes, small geometric medallions, and pairs of stylized animal-like figures rendered in mustard gold and deep aubergine. Slender vinework and rosettes in soft blue, rust, and sage connect the motifs across the open ground. The wide border repeats an alternating lancet and floral spray design in muted green and gold against the same pale ground, framed by a narrow rust-red guard stripe.

An open, gauze-like ground alternates narrow vertical bands of pale ivory with darker charcoal-grey stripes, the loosely spaced structure giving the surface an airy, semi-transparent quality. A circular inset in the lower right offers a magnified detail of the same striped pattern, revealing the crossing threads more closely. The overall palette is restrained to grey and off-white, with no additional motifs or border treatment visible.

The surface is composed of tight horizontal ridges in pale ivory, interrupted at irregular intervals by small flecks and dashes of amber, teal, slate blue, and charcoal. These scattered marks form a loose, speckled pattern without a defined field or border, giving the overall impression of a mottled, all-over texture. A magnified detail circle in the lower corner shows the same flecked arrangement at closer range, emphasizing the irregular placement of the colored accents against the neutral ground.
