Indoor & Outdoor

Maximum width: 585 cm (230 in.)

A basket-weave surface built from thick, rounded cords in ivory, alternating in irregular rhythm with narrow bands of dusty rose and threads of charcoal that peek through the gaps between courses. The plain ivory sections dominate the field, broken at intervals by these softer striped passages, giving an overall grid-like texture rather than a drawn pattern. Along the left edge the cords loop back on themselves in a visible selvage, and a detail inset at lower right isolates the checkerboard interlacing of the rows.

Indoor & Outdoor

Maximum width: 585 cm (230 in.)

A grid of thick braided cords, ivory and pale champagne in tone, crosses a lattice of thinner flat tapes in a warm beige. The plaited elements are arranged in evenly spaced rows and columns, forming a repeating basket-like pattern across the whole surface, bordered on all sides by a continuous rolled edge of the same braided cord. A circular inset in the lower right magnifies the weave, revealing the twisted texture of the cords against the smoother, ribbon-like crossing tapes.

The field is composed entirely of fine horizontal striations, alternating bands of slate blue-grey with narrower lines of pale ivory and muted bronze-gold. A magnified detail at the lower right reveals the close, ridged texture of these bands, showing how the surface catches light differently along each stripe. No border, medallion, or other motif interrupts the continuous striped ground.

The surface presents an uninterrupted field of fine horizontal ribbing, the tonal grey ground broken by thin repeating lines of deep indigo blue running the full width. A close-up inset at lower right reveals the texture more closely, showing the ridged, corded structure and the way the blue threads sit within the grey courses. No border, motif, or inscription interrupts the continuous striped surface.

The surface presents an unbroken expanse of deep indigo blue, its plain field animated only by the horizontal ribbing of the structure itself. A magnified detail isolates a small section where the interlacing of finer threads becomes legible, revealing subtle variations in tone between the ridges and the recessed rows beneath them. No border, medallion, or inscription interrupts the solid ground; the piece reads as a continuous, textured plane of color.
