Sultanabad

An elongated central medallion in brick red anchors the field, its scalloped outline echoed by a smaller pendant medallion below, both set against a densely scrolling ground of small-scale floral and vinery patterning in faded rust, ivory, and pale blue-green. The field's palette softens toward the lower register, where blue tones become more pronounced around the secondary medallion.

Iraka Mat

The field is left entirely open, an undyed natural tone divided into three horizontal panels by narrow woven seams that cross the width. A plain border in the same pale tan frames the piece, and an inset detail shows the coarse, open basket-like structure of the surface up close.

    Agave, Tin and Bronze

The field is left entirely open, articulated by fine, evenly spaced vertical stripes running the full length of the piece in soft ivory and pale grey tones. There is no border to speak of, only a narrow line of contrasting selvage along the edges, and no other motifs interrupt the plain striped surface. The detail view shows the close texture of these lines, revealing a subtle sheen where the lighter and darker yarns catch the light differently.
