Sultanabad

A long runner with a saturated gold-yellow field carrying a repeating lattice of angular vine stems that support palmettes, rosettes, and serrated leaves in brick red, deep blue, ivory, and dusty green. The main border is a dark indigo ground set with a chain of stepped, diamond-shaped medallions in red, cream, and blue, flanked by narrower guard stripes of small rosettes and geometric fret patterns. A detail inset in the lower right magnifies the border's stacked diamond and cross motifs, showing the crisp contrast of ivory, red, and navy tones.

An elongated central medallion in brick red anchors the field, its scalloped outline echoed by a smaller pendant medallion below, both set against a densely scrolling ground of small-scale floral and vinery patterning in faded rust, ivory, and pale blue-green. The field's palette softens toward the lower register, where blue tones become more pronounced around the secondary medallion.

Iraka Mat

The field is left entirely open, an undyed natural tone divided into three horizontal panels by narrow woven seams that cross the width. A plain border in the same pale tan frames the piece, and an inset detail shows the coarse, open basket-like structure of the surface up close.
