Bessarabian
A dark brown ground carries a central column of stacked snowflake-like rosettes in slate blue, ivory, salmon, and touches of coral red, interspersed with small stepped diamonds along the vertical axis. This central panel is framed by a plain pale blue band and then a wide ivory and yellow lattice border filled with small diamond compartments holding tiny abstract figures in blue, red, and ochre. The palette throughout stays soft and muted, with the dark field setting off the lighter, patterned border.
