The surface presents an allover pattern of narrow vertical bands alternating in irregular, offset lengths, some rendered in a mottled turquoise and blue, others left in a plain grey ground. An inset circular detail in the lower right magnifies the texture, revealing the fine striated structure of the colored bands against the flatter grey stripes. There is no border treatment visible, only the continuous striped field, with a faint watermark reading the gallery's name along the bottom edge.
