An ivory ground carries a dense, all-over lattice of scrolling vinery, palmettes and small blossom heads rendered in muted rose, soft blue-gray and tan, with a faint central medallion emerging where the vinework gathers along the vertical axis. The field is framed by a series of narrow guard stripes and a wide border repeating the same floral scrollwork, its palette echoing the field so that the transition from ground to border reads as continuous rather than contrasting.
