Two matching vertical panels are joined by a narrow ivory band, each field a dark ground filled with dense scrolling acanthus leaves, large curling gold palmettes, and scattered sprays of pale pink and celadon blossoms. A serpentine ivory reserve runs down the center of each panel, edged with a wavy dark line resembling a chain, while the flanking guard stripes carry a small stepped meander pattern in tan and cream. The palette throughout is muted gold, olive, soft pink, and cream against deep brown.

The field is organized into a grid of twelve rectangular panels, each set against a terracotta-red ground and framed by a scrolling cream vine. Within every panel a cream-colored inner field holds a bouquet of roses and small blossoms rendered in pink, blue, yellow, and green, bordered by a delicate scalloped garland of tiny pink flowers. The repeating panel format gives the whole surface a patchwork-like regularity, with only slight variation in the arrangement of each floral cluster.
