Needlepoint

A black ground carries a regular grid of twelve floral bouquets, each a cluster of pink and burgundy roses with cream blossoms and sprays of green leaves. The wide border on tan ground repeats scrolling acanthus leaves and rosettes, interrupted at the corners and mid-sides by lobed cartouches enclosing smaller floral sprays, all framed by a narrow patterned guard stripe.

Bessarabian

A deep brown ground carries two large floral wreaths stacked vertically, each ring composed of dense roses, dahlias, and sprays in orange, pink, cream, and pale blue, encircling a smaller cluster of blossoms at its center. The same dark ground reappears as the field corners and border, the latter filled with a continuous garland of full-blown roses, small blue florets, and leafy stems in matching colors. The composition is symmetrical top to bottom, with the wreaths and corner sprays mirrored precisely across the field.

Needlepoint

The field is organized into a grid of twenty-four octagonal medallions on a pale beige ground, each framed by black spandrels and holding a distinct botanical study - irises, sunflowers, hyacinths, poppies, violets, hydrangea, roses, daffodils, lilies, foxglove, and morning glories rendered in naturalistic color. A plain dark green border encloses the arrangement, with a narrow striped guard band just inside it. No two medallions repeat the same flower grouping, giving the overall composition the character of a botanical sampler.

Needlepoint

A repeating lattice of quatrefoil medallions in deep red, each enclosing a finely drawn rosette in ivory, blue and rust, alternates across the ground with star-shaped rosettes in blue, green and lavender that fill the interstices. The palette stays consistent throughout, ivory, moss green, slate blue and burgundy against a warm tan field, with a narrow plain border in soft camel enclosing the whole composition. The design reads as an unbroken all-over grid, cropped at the edges rather than resolved by a distinct border pattern.
