The field is left entirely open, worked in horizontal bands of natural undyed tones that shift gradually from deep taupe-brown at top and bottom to a pale, near-ivory stripe across the center. There is no border, medallion, or applied ornament; the composition relies solely on the striated shading of the pile. Loosely knotted fringe finishes both ends, left in its natural undyed color.
