Beni Ourain

An open, undyed ivory field is left almost entirely bare except for a faint, sparsely drawn diamond lattice traced in thin brown lines running the length of the piece. A narrow patterned band in brown and cream marks the top and bottom edges, finishing into loose, uneven knotted fringe. The surface has a soft, uneven, high-pile texture that catches light unevenly across the plain ground.

Beni Ourain

An undyed ivory field is overlaid with an all-over lattice of brown diamonds outlined in a soft, irregular line, subdivided by narrow horizontal bands of zigzag and chevron motifs that break the grid into three loose registers. No separate border frames the composition, and the piece finishes with a plain woven edge and a fringe of loose knotted ends at the lower edge.

Beni Ourain

An open ivory field is overlaid with a continuous brown diamond lattice, the lines varying slightly in weight and spacing as they cross the surface. A narrow band of small triangular motifs in brown and faded pink runs along the upper edge, distinct from the plain field below, with loose warp fringe finishing the lower end.

Beni Ourain

An ivory ground carries an open lattice of brown diamonds formed by crossing diagonal lines, left unbordered so the pattern runs to the edges. Small scattered figures break the grid at the corners and lower field, and near the bottom a rectangular, comb-like motif with hatched fringe sits above the woven end finishing in loose warp fringe.

Azilal

The field is organized as an irregular grid of thin brown lines crossing bands of yellow, green, and ivory, giving the whole surface a plaid-like effect that shifts slightly in register between the upper and lower halves. A narrow horizontal band interrupts the grid at mid-length, and a row of small dark triangular motifs runs along the lower edge before the fringe. Loose warp fringe is visible at both ends, undyed against the ivory ground.

Glaoua

An open field of unadorned brownish-red covers the greater part of the piece, its surface subtly banded by faint horizontal shifts in tone rather than any figured pattern. Both ends are framed by stacked bands in deep red, slate blue, and coral pink of varying widths, the lower band finishing in warm salmon before giving way to loose warp fringe. The asymmetry between the two end borders - differing in width and sequence of colors - is the notable detail here.

Boujad Kilim

A striped rust-red field is overlaid with two stacked zigzag chevron bands rendered in cream, sky blue, mustard, and pale green pile knots, framing small diamond and cross-form medallions in between. Flanking side panels break from the striped ground into a dense checkerboard of small squares in ivory, orange, mustard, lavender, green, and brown, giving the piece an asymmetrical composition between center and borders. The lower edge finishes in a plain rust band with loose ivory warp fringe.

Rehamna Tribe

A dark brown ground carries a large lozenge medallion built up from small stepped diamonds in cream, coral, and pale blue, its point extending downward into a stacked column of tiny triangular motifs. Below, a checkerboard band and two smaller flanking diamonds lead to a second grouping of pointed lozenges near the lower edge, echoing the central form at reduced scale. Narrow striped bands in rust, cream, and brown frame the ends, with the warp fringe left loose at both terminations.

Azilal

An ivory ground is covered edge to edge with a dense lattice of small diamonds and lozenges rendered in soft coral, mint green, lavender, and dark brown, occasionally interrupted by thin plain horizontal bands. A vertical chain of larger interlocking diamond medallions runs down the center, flanked by scattered cross and star motifs, while a narrow undecorated strip separates the field from the fringed ends.

Azilal

An ivory field is covered by an all-over stepped brown lattice forming a diamond trellis, left largely open across the main expanse. Along the right edge runs a narrow secondary panel filled with small scattered emblems in pink, brown and cream, loosely arranged in vertical rows, unlike the regularity of the main pattern. Selvedges are plain and the corners show minor irregularities in the lattice alignment.
