The field is divided by a lattice of diagonal bands into square compartments, each filled with a dense checkerboard of small triangles that read as alternating pinwheel-like units in ivory and black. The diagonal lattice bands themselves carry a fine black-and-ivory checked pattern, crossing at regular intervals to form a grid of diamonds over the whole surface. A narrow guard stripe and a wider border of small interlocking cross and lozenge shapes, again in the same two-tone palette, frame the composition on all sides.

    Designed by Carin Wästberg (1859-1942).

An open ivory field is organized into stacked triangular and diamond compartments formed by fine linear outlines in mauve, plum, and soft brown. Small accents of sage green, dusty blue, and rust punctuate the intersections of the geometric lattice, while the border repeats a narrow guard pattern in muted violet and cream. At the top and bottom edges, a denser band of small-scale patterning frames the composition before giving way to a plain dark selvage.

    Tapestry

The field presents a pastoral scene worked in muted ivory, sage green, and faded blue, with a pale goat or sheep standing beneath a flowering tree whose clusters of pink blossoms arch overhead, and slender long-necked birds moving through the underbrush at either side. The surrounding border repeats a garland of acanthus-like leaves in soft green against oatmeal, punctuated by round medallion roundels at the corners and midpoints, with a narrow inner stripe of deep plum-brown framing the composition.

An ivory ground carries an all-over lattice of interlocking wavy lines in sage green, mustard yellow, coral orange, brick red, and dark brown, forming a continuous chain of diamond and lozenge shapes across the field. The border is composed of narrow multicolored stripes echoing the same palette, running unbroken around all four sides without corner medallions or cartouches. The pattern maintains a steady, even rhythm from edge to edge with no central medallion or directional emphasis.

The field is left open in a soft palette of sage, olive, and pale gray, populated by a procession of nude and semi-draped figures rendered in flattened, angular forms. Skin tones range from pale cream to deep russet brown, with accents of coral red, mustard yellow, and slate blue in draped fabrics and hair. Slender stylized plants and a pair of birds fill the spaces between the figures, and a narrow black stripe runs down the right edge before the fringed selvage.
