European Kilim

The field is filled with a repeating geometric lattice of angular, fractured forms in tan and soft gold, each unit crossed by fine cream grid lines and diagonal slashes of pale blue and ivory that suggest a stylized architectural or foliate motif. A speckled, mottled texture runs throughout the ground, giving the surface an irregular, mineral-like patina. The border is composed of a narrow plain brown band framed by a wider ivory field patterned with interlocking cellular or reptilian-scale shapes rendered in the same muted gold and taupe palette.

Thracian Kilim

An open ivory field is scattered with small sprays of stylized flowering plants in soft peach, sage green, and pale blue, interspersed with a few slender rock or bird-topped stems near the corners. The border is built of a diamond lattice band in green and cream flanked by a wider blue trellis band, with rounded quarter-medallions in blue and cream set into each corner of the field.

Turkish Kilim

A pale ivory field is filled with a lattice of interlocking diamonds outlined in brown, each enclosing small stepped stars, and set against a fine speckled ground of coral pink and taupe. Multiple concentric borders repeat serrated diamonds and reciprocal triangle bands in coral, brown, ivory and taupe, with a thin wavy vine motif framing the inner field. The corners and edges show slight compression in the geometric repeats, giving a subtly irregular, hand-drawn quality to the symmetry.
