Intreccio Diagonale

100% Cotton

The field is left open, without border or medallion, given over entirely to irregular horizontal striations in ivory, moss and olive green that blend and separate unevenly across the surface. Flecks of deeper green interrupt the paler bands, giving the whole a mottled, striped effect rather than a fixed pattern. The detail view shows the loosely spaced structure, with slubbed threads and small knots visible where the coloured yarns cross the pale ground.

The field is left open, with no border or central medallion, allowing the flat, textural surface to carry the whole design. Irregular horizontal bands of ivory, oatmeal, and taupe drift across the ground, interrupted at intervals by streaks of deep indigo blue that break the pale tonality like passing shadows. A detail inset in the lower corner shows the loose, open-weave structure up close, revealing individual threads and small slubs where the fibers catch the light unevenly.

Intreccio Diagonale

The field is left largely open, its ivory ground broken by loose, irregular bands of rust red that drift diagonally across the surface like weathered striations. Flecks of tufted, uneven pile interrupt the flatter passages, giving the surface an intentionally rough, textured quality. There is no border to speak of, the composition instead fading softly at the edges, with a detail inset showing the coarse, open weave structure beneath the coloration.

100% Cotton

The field is left entirely open, without border or medallion, given over to loose horizontal striations of ivory, sand, and sage green that drift diagonally across the surface like brushstrokes. Flecks of green gather more densely in irregular bands, thinning to near-solid cream in other passages, so the overall effect reads as an abstract, unbounded pattern rather than a formal composition. The detail inset shows the coarse, open plainweave structure with visible gaps between the horizontal courses.

A dark charcoal-brown ground is overlaid with a grid of ivory bars and slender striated strokes, their lengths and orientations shifting from horizontal dashes at the edges to vertical tufts toward the center. The pattern radiates outward from a small central medallion-like cluster of short vertical marks, giving the impression of a pulsing or breathing checkerboard. No border frames the composition; the field runs edge to edge with the motif fading gently at the corners.
