Finnish Flat Weave
An abstracted field in soft sand and pale sage is organized around a vertical central axis, with mirrored stylized botanical forms in yellow, teal, brick red, and cream rendered in a stepped, angular idiom. Small potted-tree motifs, diamond checkerboards, zigzag flashes, and star-like rosettes populate the corners and mid-field, while the outer border repeats a stepped key-fret pattern in brown and cream against warm taupe guard stripes. Fringe is visible at both ends, and the FJ Hakimian watermark appears in the lower left corner of the image.
