Double-sided

A small sample of plain ivory ground shows two loosely scattered rows of raised, cloud-like tufts in pale grey, set off-center toward the upper left. Dark brown selvage threads frame the top and bottom edges, continuing into long fringe on both sides, while an inset detail at lower right magnifies the looped, uneven texture of the tufted motifs against the flatter woven surface.

A sample of undyed, ivory-toned surface with an open, flatly woven ground interrupted by irregular clusters of raised, looped texture that stand slightly proud of the plane. The pattern of these looped areas is scattered rather than symmetrical, drifting loosely across the field without forming a clear border or repeat. Dark brown fringe finishes both the top and bottom edges, and a circular detail inset shows the contrast between the flat weave and the looped clusters up close.

The field is left entirely open in an undyed ivory tone, its surface built up in a fine, even textured stitch that catches the light in a subtle overall pattern. Toward the center, a cluster of vertical ridges rises in low relief, breaking the uniform texture with a faint architectural rhythm. Long, loosely twisted fringes finish the top and bottom edges, while the sides are closed with a plain woven border.

A predominantly ivory ground is broken by a central cluster of small stepped, diamond-like motifs rendered in soft beige, arranged in three loosely aligned columns.
