Tabriz

The field is filled edge to edge with a small-scale repeating lattice of stylized floral rosettes rendered in muted ivory and pale coral against a soft olive-tan ground, the pattern reading almost as an allover trellis. A wide rose-madder border carries a scrolling vine set with lobed palmette medallions in cream, sage, and near-black outline, framed by a run of narrower guard stripes with meandering vinework. The overall coloration is soft and earthy throughout, with no inscriptions or dates visible.

Selvedge edged with silk

An ivory field carries a central medallion of interlaced palmettes and vinery, echoed by matching pendants above and below, all rendered in soft slate and powder blue against the pale ground. Cusped floral spandrels fill the corners, their tendrils spilling outward and softening into paisley-like leaves at the field's edges. A wide border of repeating rosettes and scrolling vines, framed by narrower guard stripes of small palmettes, encloses the composition on all four sides.

Tabriz

An overall lattice of interlaced palmettes and rosettes in muted sage and slate green repeats evenly across a soft camel ground, each blossom set within a diamond of curling vinework. A wide seafoam border framed by narrow indigo guard stripes carries a continuous vine-and-palmette scroll, echoing the field's palette in a lighter, more open register. The corners resolve the border pattern cleanly, and the field pattern is cropped at the edges rather than closed, suggesting the design continues beyond the visible ground.

Tabriz

The field is organized as a garden-plot compartment design, divided by a central ivory lattice column into paired rows of rectangular panels, each holding a different cypress, flowering shrub, or arched mihrab-like tree motif rendered in muted sage, ivory, and soft orange tones. The wide border carries a meandering vine with palmettes and rosettes on a warm rust ground, framed by narrower guard stripes of small repeating blossoms in ivory and grey-green.

Tabriz

The field is organized into a garden-plot lattice of small rectangular compartments, each containing a stylized flowering tree or cypress rendered in muted rust, ivory and soft blue against warm tan and brown grounds. Two lobed medallions of rosette form interrupt the grid at the vertical axis, and the whole is enclosed by a wide border of undulating vine and palmette forms flanked by narrower guard stripes with rosette and leaf motifs. Coloration throughout stays within a soft palette of camel, faded terracotta, ivory, and deep brown.

Mohtasham Kashan

An ivory field is dominated by a lobed, quartered medallion in navy and rust that anchors a smaller central rosette in pale blue, all surrounded by dense scrolling floral vinery in coral, sage, and cream. Spandrels at the corners echo the medallion's palette with matching floral sprays, and the wide navy border is filled with repeating blossoms, palmettes, and small bird-like forms in coral, cream, and soft blue. The ivory guard stripes carry finer floral trailing vines, and both ends terminate in warm ivory fringe.

Dabir Kashan

An ivory field carries a dense scrolling vine and palmette pattern in soft rust, blue, and taupe, centering on a large medallion in deep plum and slate with concentric floral rings, echoed by quarter-medallions of rust and blue in each corner. A narrow inscribed cartouche appears at the top edge of the field, and the wide border repeats the same palmette-and-vine scrollwork in a darker, muted brown-grey palette against the field's lighter ground.

Berber

An open ivory ground is crossed by a loosely drawn lattice of diagonal brown lines that form irregular diamonds running the full length of the field, with no border to contain them. A broad horizontal band of solid dark brown interrupts the lattice roughly two-thirds down, the crossing lines continuing faintly over its surface. Fringe is left plain at both ends.

Berber

An ivory ground is organized into horizontal registers of fine brown line-work, without a distinct enclosing border. Motifs shift from band to band: rows of small diamonds and dotted lines, wavy vertical stems, a diamond lattice, chevrons with tasselled diamonds, and near the base a run of narrow columnar shapes flanking two house-like gabled forms. The composition ends in a zigzag line and a row of small diamonds just above the fringe.
