The field is composed entirely of narrow horizontal bands in irregular widths, running the full length of the runner without a distinct border. Colors shift gradually from soft pinks and lavenders at the top through blues and grays in the middle to warm oranges, rusts, and golds toward the bottom, with fine threads of dark green and navy running throughout. The ends finish in loosely knotted fringe of mixed color.
An ivory ground carries a sparse, almost linear program of interlocking diamond lattices worked in fine dashes of rust-red and dark brown, arranged in horizontal bands separated by plain undecorated stretches. Thin solid stripes in the same dark tones mark the divisions between registers, with a broader rust band set near the top edge. The detail view shows the individual dashes as short, irregular strokes rather than continuous lines, and the piece finishes with a loose fringe at both ends.
An ivory ground is divided into distinct registers: an upper band of loosely drawn vertical zigzag lines in brown, scattered with small amber and coral accents, transitions into a middle field of an open brown diamond lattice with occasional touches of red and blue. The lower portion shifts to a solid rust-toned band with a checkered striped pattern before ending in a plain warp fringe. Borders are minimal, with a narrow patterned selvage rather than a formal frame, and the composition reads as three loosely stacked fields rather than a unified design.
An undecorated field of long, shaggy pile in mingled cream and tan-brown tones, the mixture of light and dark tufts creating an all-over mottled, almost speckled texture with no discernible border or central motif. The ends finish in loosely knotted fringe, with small tufts of red and blue-gray yarn appearing among the otherwise natural-toned fringe at the lower edge.
A red field is dominated by a large ivory medallion with pointed, stepped ends, filled with an interlaced lattice of small floral rosettes rendered in rust and taupe tones. The spandrels repeat the same floral lattice against the red ground, while a wide ivory border of scrolling palmettes and blossoms is framed by narrower guard stripes in matching red and cream palettes. Color throughout ranges from deep brick red to soft ivory and warm tan.
