Berber

The field is composed entirely of narrow horizontal bands in muted olive-brown and cream, each stripe edged with a fine zigzag line running the width of the piece. A few bands break the rhythm with flecks of rust, orange, and white, adding brief color incident to an otherwise subdued striping. Fringe survives unevenly at both ends, heavier and looser at the lower right corner, with no border framing the composition beyond the stripes themselves.
