Sultanabad

A dark indigo field carries an allover scrolling vine lattice bearing large palmettes and serrated leaves rendered in shades of rust, ochre, and sage green. The main border on a soft terracotta ground repeats a diagonal lattice enclosing small rosettes, flanked by narrow guard stripes of stylized floral vining. Wear along the lower edge exposes the foundation, and the corners of the border resolve unevenly where the lattice pattern is truncated.

Swedish Flat Weave

An open, undecorated field in pale oatmeal is crossed at intervals by thin horizontal stripes alternating between ivory and soft pink, the lines running the full width of the piece. The borders are left plain, with the field's edges finished in a loose fringe at top and bottom. The detail inset shows the flat, ribbed surface up close, where the pink stripe appears as a single fine weft line against the neutral ground.

Marion II

A neutral taupe ground carries five horizontal registers of continuous interlocking key-fret lines rendered in ivory, each band reversing direction against the one above it to suggest a running maze pattern. Narrow flatwoven-looking stripes in warm brown and beige frame the top and bottom edges, while the sides are left plain, letting the field pattern run to the selvage. The palette stays within a tight range of taupe, tan, and cream throughout.

Iraka Round Mat

A circular format piece with a plain, undecorated ground in a natural tan tone, its surface built up in concentric rings that spiral outward from a central point. The outer edge is finished with a narrow braided border in the same neutral color, and a detail inset shows the coarse, open cross-hatched structure of the surface up close.

Upholstery Fabric

A close, all-over surface pattern of small chevron or zigzag ripples formed by intertwined ivory and charcoal-grey yarns, with no discernible field-and-border division or figural motifs. An inset circular detail magnifies the weave structure, showing the twisted plies that build the herringbone-like texture across the whole surface.

Upholstery Fabric

100% Cotton

The surface is patterned with a repeating diamond lattice in interlocking bands of slate gray and pale sand, the geometric grid formed by alternating light and dark blocks. A circular inset at lower right magnifies the weave, revealing the tight over-under crossing of the yarns that produces the crisp, angular motif. The overall tone is muted and cool, with the sand-colored threads offering the only warmth against the dominant gray ground.

Upholstery Fabric

100% Cotton

The surface presents an allover basketweave texture, a fine grid of small squares formed by alternating bands of slate blue-gray and warm taupe. No border or central motif interrupts the pattern, which runs edge to edge in a plain, repeating field. A detail inset at the lower right magnifies the weave structure, showing the individual threads crossing in a tight, even lattice.

Upholstery Fabric

100% Cotton

The surface presents a close, even basketweave pattern in a uniform charcoal-grey tone, with a faint diagonal shimmer where the light catches the raised threads. A circular detail inset at the lower right magnifies the structure, showing the interlacing of individual yarns and the small variations in tension that give the ground its subtle texture. No border, motif, or inscription interrupts the continuous, all-over surface.
