The field is left essentially monochrome, divided into geometric compartments defined solely by the direction of the pile's ridged texture rather than by color. A central square panel radiates concentric squares outward, contrasting with the surrounding rectangular sections of parallel lines running in differing orientations. No border is present, and the palette stays within a narrow range of soft beige and tan throughout.

A flatwoven ground alternates bands of ribbed ivory and warm taupe with narrow horizontal stripes in pale straw and soft apricot tones. Two zigzag or chevron bands break the plain striping, their small diamond repeats picked out in the same neutral palette. The detail inset shows the plain, open weave structure and the slightly irregular hand-spun quality of the yarns, with pale gold threads crossing the ground at intervals.
