The field is left entirely open, articulated by fine, evenly spaced vertical stripes running the full length of the piece in soft ivory and pale grey tones. There is no border to speak of, only a narrow line of contrasting selvage along the edges, and no other motifs interrupt the plain striped surface. The detail view shows the close texture of these lines, revealing a subtle sheen where the lighter and darker yarns catch the light differently.

VINTAGE KILIM COMPOSITION

A narrow runner divided into two vertical panels of differing widths, each banded horizontally with irregular stripes in shades of taupe, warm beige, and dark brown. The stripes vary in thickness and spacing, creating a loosely rhythmic rather than symmetrical pattern, with no border framing the composition and the flatwoven surface left otherwise plain. A detail inset at lower right shows the close texture of the striped bands.

AUBUSSON

A shaped ivory cartouche floats at the center of a dark brown ground, holding a loose bouquet of pink and blue blossoms tied with a pale scrolling ribbon. Sprays of flowers and acanthus scrolls in cream, rose, and slate blue fill the corners and radiate along the field's edges, echoed by a border of continuous floral garlands on a soft blue ground. The palette throughout stays within muted rose, cream, sage, and blue-gray tones against the near-black field.

SAVONNERIE

Floral, center medallion

A sage-green field is scattered evenly with small four-petaled florets, offering a quiet counterpoint to the central roundel. That medallion is formed by a laurel-leaf wreath enclosing a scrolling acanthus and flower motif rendered in cream and soft gold. A continuous laurel-leaf border in matching gold and green frames the composition, echoing the wreath at its center.

SAVONNERIE

An open ivory field is left largely bare around a central oval medallion of scrolling acanthus leaves in soft blue-gray, accented with clusters of pink roses and golden tendrils. Each corner repeats the acanthus-and-floral scrollwork, with small urn-like motifs at the top and bottom edges bridging field and border. The border itself carries a continuous run of golden scrolls, blue leaves, and pink floral sprays on the same pale ground, framed by a slim outer guard stripe.

SAVONNERIE

The field is organized into a grid of twenty-four ivory compartments, each framed in deep burgundy and gold lattice and holding an individual floral bouquet rendered in pink, rose, pale blue, and yellow blossoms with green foliage. Gold star-like rosettes mark the intersections of the lattice, and a matching gold laurel-leaf border repeats along the framing lines throughout. The border echoes the same burgundy ground with a continuous gold vine and star motif, giving the whole composition a repeating, almost tile-like regularity.

SAVONNERIE

An ivory ground carries a scalloped central medallion outlined in a tan scrolling vine, filled and surrounded by loose bouquets of pink roses, yellow blossoms, and blue-green sprigs. Matching floral clusters occupy each corner, and the rounded corners of the field are framed by a pale scrolling guard band before a solid terracotta-brown outer border. The overall palette is soft - cream, dusty rose, ochre, and muted sage - with the floral sprays scattered rather than strictly repeated.

SAVONNERIE

Floral, all over design.

A large bouquet of roses and small blossoms in shades of crimson, rose, and pale yellow anchors the lower-center field, trailing green leafy stems outward in loose curling lines. Scattered smaller floral sprigs and clusters of leaves echo faintly toward the corners, thinning out against the open, warm ivory ground. A tiny isolated bud, rendered in the same rose and green palette, appears alone near the upper left corner, set apart from the rest of the composition.

CUSHION

100% Banana tree fiber.

The square cushion presents an open, undecorated field of loosely woven material in warm tan and amber tones, with subtle horizontal bands where the weave tightens and darkens slightly across the surface. A row of four small covered buttons runs down the right edge, closing an overlapping flap seam, while the corners taper into soft, slightly rumpled points typical of a filled form.
