Swedish Pile

An open field in a warm brick red, abrashed with lighter rust and amber tones across the surface, is left entirely plain. It is framed by a narrow ivory guard stripe and a wider border of continuous zigzag chevrons in ivory against the same red ground, repeated evenly along all four sides.

Woven Mat

Iraka Fiber

A circular format built entirely from a spiraling pinwheel of interlocking petal shapes, radiating outward from a small tufted center. Alternating bands of pale straw and deeper tan create the illusion of four overlapping ellipses, their curved edges traced with a fine dotted line in a darker brown tone. The surface shows the natural variation of individual strands, giving each segment a subtly striated texture within its broader color field.

Mohair Carpet

An open field in a soft, uniform sandy beige, left entirely plain without border or ornament, its surface animated only by the natural variation of the woven texture. A detail inset shows the close, ridged surface structure, with subtle striations of lighter and darker tone running horizontally across the expanse.

Hilda

An all-over lattice of interlocking rectilinear forms, resembling stacked ladder-like columns, is rendered in soft grey outline against an ivory ground. The pattern repeats in tight vertical registers across the field, with the same grey linework echoed in a narrow, unadorned border. The overall effect is a continuous geometric grid with no central medallion or corner ornament, the design running to the edges uniformly.

VINTAGE KILIM COMPOSITION

A narrow runner composed of two flatwoven panels joined along a visible seam, each rendered in horizontal striations of dark brown, taupe and warm chestnut tones. The field is otherwise unadorned, relying entirely on the tonal banding for its effect, while a detail inset shows the seam reinforced with a herringbone stitch of undyed ivory yarn.
