The F.J. Hakimian collection of vintage European carpets is one of the greatest ever assembled and covers each of the important weaving areas of that period. Among unique pieces from Scandinavia, we have exceptional quality Swedish carpets and one-of-a-kind wall-hangings of such great textile artists as Märta Måås-Fjetterström, Barbro Nilsson, Marianne Richter, Sigvard Bernadotte or Ingrid Dessau, just mentioning few of them. French and English carpets along with Austrian Wiener Werkstätte school rugs, complimented by Spanish and Arts and Crafts carpets, create endless selection of possibilities. They range in size from tiny wall-hangings and small area rugs to marvelous 35 feet long carpets. Our pieces dates from the early 20th century through the Art Deco period and mid-century Scandinavian carpets are ideal decorative complements to Western interiors and styles.
